Answers for Short Comprehension Practice

Qn 1: She remembered the threads had once been used to make the strings of musical instruments.

Qn 2: There was no time to fetch anyone else and the snow was covering the creature's track fast.

Qn 3: He had fallen into the sea and the raft was drifting away from him.

Qn 4: He was feeling angry and upset. ( Replace 'rage' and 'distress')

Pt to note: 1. Be clear in your answer. Avoid being longwinded to prevent ED. As usual, check for consistencies of tenses to match what was given in the question.
